Camera ready instructions

For the final papers please make sure you follow the procedure outlined below:
  1. Make sure you use the Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings.

  2. Add the following copyright (without quotes) to the bottom of the first page (**):
978-1-4673-6870-4/15/$31.00 ©2015 IEEE”, for example, see publications from the last CBMI.

(**) For putting the copyright line into a LaTeX document you’ll need the following commands before the \maketitle command:

    \IEEEpubid{978-1-4673-6870-4/15/\$31.00~\copyright~2015 IEEE}
according to IEEEtran_HOWTO.pdf, the HowTo, that comes with the templates,
“… \IEEEpubidadjcol must be issued somewhere in the second column of the title page. …”

For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is:
U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright”, for papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is:
978-1-4673-6870-4/15/$31.00 ©2015 Crown”, for papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: "978-1-4673-6870-4/15/$31.00 ©2015 European Union"

  3. Proofread your source document thoroughly to confirm that it will require no revision. Upload the revised PDF to easychair (proceedings).

  4. In order to fulfill the IEEE Xplore compliance, make sure that the PDF follows the IEEE template, is not rasterized (zooming results in smooth text, graphics), all graphics is embedded (not just linked), and contains only Type 1 Embedded fonts (e.g., take care of figures that may need to be converted into curves). You can check the fonts using Adobe Reader when opening the PDF file, looking into menu File->Properties, Tab Fonts.

For authors using IEEE Word templates, make sure that you have checked "ISO 19005-1 compliant (PDF/A)" option when saving the word document as pdf file. Make sure that the pdf file contains only embedded subset fonts.

  5. Make sure one author has registered with a full registration per paper by April 30, 2015.

  6. Finally, make sure you submitted the copyright agreement. Download the copyright form & fill in author names and title: CBMI IEEE Copyright FORM (PDF), print & read the form carefully, fill all necessary fields and sign it. Send the scanned, filled, and signed form to (as Copyright_Paper_##.PDF or Copyright_Paper_##.JPG) stating “CBMI COPYRIGHT STATEMENT Paper ##” in the subject (replace ## with your paper id).

Presentation at the conference

Full papers:
Accepted full papers are expected to be orally presented at the conference session. Each paper has allocated 25 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion.
Posters and demos:
- Accepted poster papers are expected to be presented at the conference poster session. A suitable form of poster is a large (A0-A1) piece of paper with concise schema sumarizing the paper contribution. We strongly discourage to use posters in form of printed papers.
- An accepted demo paper is expected to be presented at the conference demo session. The demo presentation will be performed on an on-site notebook (or the presenter’s notebook) with a high-speed connection to internet. Optionally, there will be a data projector and a projection wall available.
